Spradlin Brothers Welding Transforms Business with CI Laser Cutters and More
Opening for business in 1962, Spradlin Brothers Welding has grown from humble beginnings in a two-car garage to a 25,500 square foot state-of-the-art facility. Based in Springfield, Ohio, the shop handles a wide variety of work ranging from prototypes to production runs for industries including crane manufacturing, foundry equipment, oil and natural gas, and even a super store chain (manufacturing components for their buildings). “Our biggest goal is to keep satisfying customers with our work,” said President Jeff Spradlin. The success of this philosophy can be seen in the fact that the company has maintained relationships with some customers for over four decades.
Huron Fabrication Grows with Equipment from CINCINNATI, Inc.
Huron Fabrication, based in Cudahy, Wisconsin, prides itself on taking complex projects from concept to completion for a wide range of industries. According to CEO Erik Schimelfenyg, “It’s not about being in the middle of the manufacturing process, it’s about being at the center of creating something great.” This includes everything from elegant residential bridges to rocket engine components to military-grade armor fabrications. Whatever project is on the production line at Huron, you’ll find equipment from Cincinnati Inc. (CI) at the heart of it.
Finding Ways Large and Small to Maximize Metal Fabrication
One of the reasons we understand the needs of our customers so well is that, like them, we are in metal fabrication ourselves. As makers of metal fabrication products, we face many of the same challenges that they do on a daily basis. Our goal is to help them increase productivity and efficiency in their businesses by providing the best possible machines, tooling and engineering support possible.
Make CI the Single-Source Provider for All Your Press Brake Tooling
CINCINNATI makes some of the finest press brakes in the world. That being said, if you don’t have tooling to put into the machine, no metal is going to be formed today. It’s like a drill without a drill bit – pretty much useless. For that reason, we make sure the reputation of our press brake tooling matches that of our machines.
Welding a Legacy with Cincinnati Press Brakes
For a quarter century, Tom Racicot has been a welder. The first 15 years of his career was spent at a welding company, where he learned the ropes and ultimately gained enough expertise that he hit his ceiling. As it turned out, he had just as much passion and talent for hands-on fabrication as he did for welding.
So in 2011, he set off on his own and opened T.R. Welding & Fabrication out of his garage. The Wappingers Falls, NY company welds steel, aluminum and stainless, and it provides custom welding, structural steel, aluminum and mobile welding services. Starting the company was riskier than staying put, but Tom didn’t think twice about it. His talent spoke for itself.
The Indispensable Press Brake Safety Guide
When operating a press brake, you have two primary and vital objectives. First, you must eliminate the need for operators to place any parts of their bodies within (or even near) the point of operation when loading, forming or unloading. Second, choose a guard, device or operating method that prevents entry or stops die closing if the operators inadvertently enter the point of operation.
Why Detronic Opts For Cincinnati Press Brakes
Ryan Carne, president of Detronic Industries, has been with the same company for 24 years. He’s had Cincinnati press brakes that entire time. Why the focus on Cincinnati? In their president’s words, “They place an uncommon emphasis on educating and taking care of their customers.”
Small Footprint, Huge Efficiency: This is the Autoform Hydraulic Press Brake
Thanks to the small footprint, the hydraulic Autoform perfectly complements the existing CI line of compact electric press brakes and allows for more efficient production of your smaller parts.

Total Game Changer: Michigan Shop Installs CI Press Brake
Investing in new technology keeps Accurate at the head of the pack. After shifting to SOLIDWORKS a few years ago, they purchased a laser cutting machine to boost productivity and accuracy over their hi-def plasma. The laser led to more precision jobs, and Accurate quickly found itself in need of a more precise press brake that could keep pace.
Operator-Friendly Controls from CI
CINCINNATI designs and produces our own PC-based controls in-house improving efficiencies in programming, all with the American user in mind.
How (and Why) We Support Our Oldest Machines
There are roughly 60,000 active CINCINNATI machines in the wild. Many were built this century. But some? Some are nearly a century old.

Meet the Huge Press Brake That Builds CI Equipment
Countless CINCINNATI press brakes have been created and shipped in the past 100+ years, but back in 1989, a special one was born. This is its story.
