Cincinnati Inc. Debuts Paint Scheme for Hendrick Motorsports’ No. 5 Chevrolet
Harrison, Ohio – Cincinnati Incorporated (CI), an American-owned and American-built machine tool manufacturer since the 19th century, unveiled its paint scheme for Hendrick Motorsports No. 5 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE driven by Kyle Larson. The design pays homage to the company’s history while also incorporating elements from the American flag.
“There’s been a recent made-in-America surge and discussion surrounding what that means, and it’s been wonderful to see,” said Tim Warning, President & CEO at Cincinnati Inc. “Here at CI, that’s been a foundational part of who we are since the 1890s. We’re beyond excited to watch what Kyle and the team at Hendrick Motorsports do with this special No. 5 car.”
The CI paint scheme will take to the track at Michigan Speedway on August 22 for the FireKeepers Casino 400. Larson and his No. 5 Chevrolet, with five wins and 12 top-fives, are currently first in the point standings.
“Cincinnati did a great job designing this paint scheme and incorporating the stars and stripes,” Larson said. “I can’t wait to drive it at Michigan – one of my favorite tracks. We use CI equipment at our shop and throughout Hendrick Motorsports, and their equipment is top-notch and dependable.”
In addition to the event at Michigan Speedway, the Cincinnati paint scheme will also appear at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway on Oct. 3.
Cincinnati joined Hendrick Motorsports in 2019, signing a landmark 10-year sponsorship agreement. The company is the official metal fabrication and additive equipment provider of Hendrick Motorsports.
