Post-sale service and support has always been a priority at CINCINNATI. It’s a big reason we’ve been around for so long. But 15 years ago, we began the transition from reactive to proactive post-sale service. The first step: control upgrades on our press brakes.

If you’re wondering how to grow a fabrication business, RC Industries has a template. When operating a press brake, you have two primary and vital objectives. First, you must eliminate the need for operators to place any parts of their bodies within (or even near) the point of operation when loading, forming or unloading. Second, choose a guard, device or operating method that prevents entry or stops die closing if the operators inadvertently enter the point of operation.

Ryan Carne, president of Detronic Industries, has been with the same company for 24 years. He’s had Cincinnati press brakes that entire time. Why the focus on Cincinnati? In their president’s words, “They place an uncommon emphasis on educating and taking care of their customers.”

Cincinnati Incorporated will sponsor the 2019 Flying Pig Marathon, also known as the Pig Party, on May 3-5 in Cincinnati at the Duke Energy Convention Center. In 2018, CI donated a 3D printed 26.2 that was displayed at both the expo and the finish line. This year, the company will be donating a custom 3D printed 13.1 to complete the set.
