Huron Fabrication Grows with Equipment from CINCINNATI, Inc.
Huron Fabrication, based in Cudahy, Wisconsin, prides itself on taking complex projects from concept to completion for a wide range of industries. According to CEO Erik Schimelfenyg, “It’s not about being in the middle of the manufacturing process, it’s about being at the center of creating something great.” This includes everything from elegant residential bridges to rocket engine components to military-grade armor fabrications. Whatever project is on the production line at Huron, you’ll find equipment from Cincinnati Inc. (CI) at the heart of it.
Cincinnati Incorporated To Release Load Calculator App, Compatible With All Press Brakes
Cincinnati Incorporated (CI), a U.S.-based, build-to-order machine tool manufacturer, has developed and released a load calculator app that lets users figure out the press brake tonnage required to air bend a certain piece of metal. Finding Ways Large and Small to Maximize Metal Fabrication
One of the reasons we understand the needs of our customers so well is that, like them, we are in metal fabrication ourselves. As makers of metal fabrication products, we face many of the same challenges that they do on a daily basis. Our goal is to help them increase productivity and efficiency in their businesses by providing the best possible machines, tooling and engineering support possible.
Make CI the Single-Source Provider for All Your Press Brake Tooling
CINCINNATI makes some of the finest press brakes in the world. That being said, if you don’t have tooling to put into the machine, no metal is going to be formed today. It’s like a drill without a drill bit – pretty much useless. For that reason, we make sure the reputation of our press brake tooling matches that of our machines.
What It Means To Be American Owned, American Made
CINCINNATI has been around since the 1890s, and we’ve been working hard in southwest Ohio for the duration. As the decades have passed, it’s become a rarity to find an American manufacturing company still producing on U.S. soil.
Welding a Legacy with Cincinnati Press Brakes
For a quarter century, Tom Racicot has been a welder. The first 15 years of his career was spent at a welding company, where he learned the ropes and ultimately gained enough expertise that he hit his ceiling. As it turned out, he had just as much passion and talent for hands-on fabrication as he did for welding.
So in 2011, he set off on his own and opened T.R. Welding & Fabrication out of his garage. The Wappingers Falls, NY company welds steel, aluminum and stainless, and it provides custom welding, structural steel, aluminum and mobile welding services. Starting the company was riskier than staying put, but Tom didn’t think twice about it. His talent spoke for itself.

One Paint Spray Gun Modification, 25% Productivity Increase
A few months ago, Larry Allen, Spray Finisher Here at Cincinnati Incorporated, noticed our spray texturing process was not as consistent and quick as it could be. As a result, he decided to refine the process to make it less time consuming and costly. He did all this with no direction from management; this was just pure initiative. Today, we’re going to tell you how he did it.

Introducing the CLX: Our All-New, From-the-Ground-Up Fiber Laser Cutter
For decades, CINCINNATI laser cutting machines were built upon the same frame. The architecture suited our CO2 systems well, but the rate at which fiber technology changes made it apparent that we needed a new platform. In February 2019, our team had the first meeting with a blank whiteboard. A mere 8 months later, it’s official: The CLX fiber laser cutter is here.

The Indispensable Press Brake Safety Guide
When operating a press brake, you have two primary and vital objectives. First, you must eliminate the need for operators to place any parts of their bodies within (or even near) the point of operation when loading, forming or unloading. Second, choose a guard, device or operating method that prevents entry or stops die closing if the operators inadvertently enter the point of operation.
